According to The Bump, the baby is about the size of a peach, measuring 2.9 in. and weighing .81 oz. Its head is about 1/3 the size of the body, vocal cords are forming, and intestines are moving from the umbilical cord to their permanent location!

Maternity Clothes?

Not yet. I’ve been using the BeBand for pants that feel particularly tight. That was a great invention!

The usual – tired, hungry, lots of pee breaks. Not as overwhelmingly exhausted as I was from about weeks 5-12.

At about 8pm on Saturday night, after having dinner, I was craving Papa Johns pizza (yes, specifically Papa Johns). I thought I would just have a slice or two, but I ended up eating about 80% of the small pie.

Saturday: 5.4 mile run (now that the half marathon is over, I have no interest in running over 6 miles, which is a comfortable distance right now)
Sunday: 12 miles OC6 (outrigger canoe paddling). 1 pee break, but wished for several more.
Wednesday: P90X Yoga + 11 hour work day
Friday: 4 mile run

Not yet.

Bought 2 pairs of maternity jeans on Saturday. Haven’t worn them yet. Went to the doctor’s office for the first time (since learning I was pregnant) on Monday to see the nurse practitioner and I had 5 viles of blood taken. Learned that I gained 6 lbs. It’s the end of the first trimester!!
